This new segment, To the Tower, was in a sense the 'magnum opus' of the early Kirby Adventure days. It's also arguably the closest to the initial mission statement of what I wanted out of the comic back then, too.

A large part of the concept of Kirby Adventure was that the group would go around, helping people with stuff. Part of this idea actually involved a bit of community involvement. If you've been reading the original Smack Jeeves comments, you may have noticed a few people talking about cameos. Most never got further than these baseless requests, but a few did wind up getting added into the comic, and this segment is the first time that winds up happening.

The idea behind cameos was to further both a sense of community among the Kirby fans on Smack Jeeves, but also to provide a backbone for me to springboard off of when it came to writing base ideas for missions. Users could suggest a client or minor antagonist, and I'd be able to use that information to construct a plotline.

Also, the 'Old Tower' is one area of one of Kirby Super Star's subgames. One part of that game puts Kirby in a large cave with four main areas, and he goes around exploring it and collecting treasures. It was called the Great Cave Offensive (and has a stage based on it in the Super Smash Bros. series).

This is FP, the cameo of a friend from way back in the day. His original username of Falcon_Pawnch75 was very clearly based on the Super Smash Bros. move of the same name, and is quite the indication of internet meme attitude that was prevalent at the time. Nowadays, they go by the name Fukuya I believe, but regardless, this is their Kirby character.

The character of FP wasn't quite based on the real person, despite me knowing them a bit more than a random fan cameo. I mostly just took the base visual and name and just... rolled with whatever popped into my head. Perhaps it wasn't the best of ideas on paper, but at least for the time being, it worked out here enough.

The problem with involving cameos, especially with being so inexperienced as a writer, is that it made them stand out quite a lot, even among the rest of my recolored cast. For some, it's mostly just due to the character's name (because both the nickname of FP and the full name of Falcon_Pawnch are very outlandish for the world currently set-up), but for others it's just their base presence. The sad truth of fan characters is a lot of them tend to be not very well thought out, and when you have a fan wanting to push them into any world they see and a writer willing to take anything they can work with, it has a chance to lead to some rough patches.

Luckily, I was competent enough to avoid the most obvious red flags and handle things somewhat okay with all the cameos I took over the years, and FP is far from the worst offender in terms of cameo quality, but to me at least, it's still noticeable how they stand out.

Another exceedingly strange way to confirm the existence of something via a joke, Keito's line here implies the existence of dicks in this world. Do Kirbies have sex? I have a few Kirby siblings later down the line, but this is a topic I pretty much never approach otherwise.

It's mostly covered up by the text bubbles, but there is indeed floating candy pieces in the tower. As a bit of an explanation, in-game health pickups in Kirby take the form of food, and sometimes they can drop from enemies. When the food items drop from enemies, they are subjected to gravity, but other food items can be placed specifically by the game developers, and those can be floating and are not subject to gravity.

When I wanted to have the Squad explore the Old Tower for this segment, I actually had to go into the game directly and use various screenshots to piece together a background for the comic. While most times, I used sprite sheets taken by other users who had extracted them from the game files and uploaded them to a hub known as the Spriters' Resource, this particular area was never extracted before, and I didn't know how to actually do it myself. This meant that when I was taking screenshots, it wound up including extra things like the in-game health items. So, this led to me having Caiya point out the floating candy.

Kirby Super Star Ultra, the game I used sprites and backgrounds from, is a remake of the SNES game Kirby Super Star. When I was running out of backgrounds and didn't really want to keep going into rooms in-game and pulling screenshots, I wound up looking around elsewhere online. That's when I found that while not all the KSSU maps had been extracted, maps from Kirby Super Star HAD been completed. So I used a map background from Super Star here instead of Ultra.

I think I tried to justify it with a bit of like, some sort of "frozen in time" mystery, but it really ultimately amounts to nothing. Writing was a whole lot more eclectic back then and I wasn't entirely good at maintaining everything I was throwing at the wall.

The wooden stake is an obstacle in Kirby games that can only be bypassed with specific Copy Abilities. Kirby can use the Stone ability to transform into a heavy rock and pound the stake from above, or use the powerful Hammer ability to slam the peg that way, and both can be used to solve puzzles with this obstacle. The joke here is, of course, that neither Kirby nor FP have the Hammer or Stone abilities, so this room that "might have had the treasure" turned out to simply be a dead end via what is essentially a locked door.

Anyways, the original page was ten pixels too short so I corrected things to fit it into the traditional 2x2 page size.

That creature is known as a Plasma Wisp, and is a floating, living being made of pure electric energy (and floating hands). It normally gives the Plasma ability when eaten, which is the Stored Ability that Raize showed off in the previous segment.

Who is this mystery person? Truthfully, he's been shown before. Not too difficult to guess.

No, this person is not white. I used that color for the speech bubble seeing as how he's not actually in the comic, and as such had no sprite of him to get the speech bubble coloration from.
And I have finally acquired 100 fans! Wow, I do not think this comic deserves that many. Guess I was wrong.

The reasoning behind making the last panel's text bubble white originally was actually not because they weren't in the page, it was because I hadn't even figured out what colors they were going to be. Now we can all see their text bubble in the bright red that we all know them as nowadays.

Fanhal is very silly to me, because I tried to build him up as some sort of special presence, but in the end he ultimately amounted to basically nothing. He has very little character, he doesn't appear very often, and he's just not really noteworthy in any capacity. There's a reason why I omitted him from my KAS Project spiritual successor concepting, after all.

I do like his dark cherry color palette, though. From the start, a lot of my Kirby recolors were based on a few canonical Kirby colorations. Some copy abilities would change Kirby's color, and other times you had the in-game option to change Kirby's color via optional collectibles. This is where most of the character palettes for the main cast came from, with the exception of Keito who was an original creation. I started trying to make my own palettes with characters like Talzo and the Division C members in previous segments, and they weren't always the best-looking. Fanhal's red and purple, on the other hand, looks pretty nice.

Like I said, not too difficult to guess.

This is the first time we get to see Fanhal! He's been hinted at before (once in the last Escape! comic in Hali's flashback; it was said that Fanhal used to be on Kirby's division. The other time was in Kaxo's Member File; it said that Kaxo likes to bully Vezo, but previously bullied a character named Fanhal). Now we'll get to see him in action!

How long has Fanhal been in the banner?

Despite the obvious visual issues present here, I evidently decreed back in 2016-ish that this didn't warrant a revamped comic update. There'll be a few awkwardly-resized text bubbles now going forward, for at least a couple of segments, but those issues do get ironed out naturally as I progress as a creator. I think they were just below the line of "illegible" that I felt it was truer to the vibe of early KA to leave it as-is. They didn't cross the line as much as previous pages, I suppose.

Before I get into the meat of this page's needed annotations, I'll just point out that I did manage to continue that trend I envisioned of "Caiya is dumb, goes to sleep, wakes up smart". It's surprising to me that I managed to maintain that sort of pattern.

Anyways, what the heck is actually going on here, anyway? Well, if you're unfamiliar with the concept, let me introduce to you the classic sprite comic staple of an "authorsona". A lot of webcomics that were based around video games, especially Mega Man and Sonic, tended to have a lot of fourth-wall breaks and meta references from characters and things. Often, this would lead to the author directly inserting themselves into the comic, either as a regular character or as a godlike entity that can shape things around at will. Because, you know, they're the creator and all.

So, that's what that green Kirby is in the last panel. That's actually a representation of Myself. You may have noticed that my early author comments weren't under the name of Ultizeta, but instead of Ultimate Yoshi. If you didn't know, that was my original username from 2010 to 2015.

The username originated from early 2010, when I wanted to stop using the Galactic Knight 09 username I came up with randomly in 2009 to put my comics under on the Kirby's Rainbow Resort fan website. I had recently come across the fan site Starman.net, an Earthbound-focused compendium and guide, and I decided that I wanted to do that sort of thing for the Kirby series. So, at the age of 13, I wanted that to be what I was known for, and started working on what I called the Ultimate Kirby Guide, and made up the username UltimateKirby1221 to reflect that. After like, maybe 2 weeks of that name, I decided to swap it to Ultimate Yoshi, because I had already given up on the Kirby guide, and I liked Yoshi more as a sona type of character.

I still kinda kept the idea of "Ultimate Kirby" around, though, and when I started to first doodle myself some sonas, I came up with one for both Ultimate Yoshi and Ultimate Kirby. While my Yoshi was fairly recognizable due to being the originator of my iconic bandana, the Kirby was just a bright green Kirby in a blue cap. Kirby Adventure wound up being the only place I really used the 'character', since everywhere else I was exclusively going by Ultimate Yoshi and that was the face of my brand for those 6 years.

Anyway, the actual joke here is just the idea that Caiya's intelligence was so insightful and wild that if it wasn't censored, it would drive most people insane, or something. So my authorsona popped up, visible only to the audience, in order to censor the dialogue and keep readers sane. For Caiya, nothing strange happened and she kept speaking as normal. It's not a great joke.

Or, rather, a sprite recolor of 'me'.

That's the Ultimate Kirby, one of my highly unoriginal fan-characters. He'll represent me in Kirby Adventure in the few times I decide to show myself. I'd rather this not become some huge comic that's all about the author, and the breaking of the fourth wall that is so constant there isn't even somebody to repair it after it gets broken.

I have no idea what I'm even talking about anymore.

Dun dun dun!

Jarkes was the second of many cameos in this segment, and the first who's comments have actually been visible to read in previous pages. Problem is, for a long while, Jarkes was merely a guest user on Smack Jeeves, and NHN Media's layout changes to the Smack Jeeves website wound up eradicating a lot of the guest comments' usernames around like 2018-ish. So while most of Jarkes' early comments are readable, unless I replied to them, it's not really possible to tell which guest comments were his and which weren't.

Regardless, Jarkes asked about cameo-ing right near the start of To the Tower, and when he provided his request about being a green Biospark (this ninja enemy) who wanted to find an ancient ninja scroll, I immediately realized how closely that resembled the current cameo idea with FP. Thus, I got the brilliant idea to simply do both cameo ideas at once. It was a whim decision that admittedly wound up complicating the whole segment a bit more than was necessary. Originally, Kaxo, Saia, and Vezo were meant to take a backseat, and yet they got included anyway because I bit off a bit more than I could chew.

And now for the surprise third cameo, sort of! This one's kind of embarrassing, more than anything else. I had a friend group on Skype at the time, and when it came time to give this random Plasma Wisp a name, I decided to name her after one of my friends in the group. Thus, she became Jazzy the Plasma Wisp, named after my friend FlashyPlz. Flashy, Fwashy, Darky, Jazzy, whatever she'd go by, she was a close friend who I'm still friends with nowadays! She was an original Skrawler, she draws lots of Pokémon content, and is a pretty cool person. She also has jack-all to do with this Plasma Wisp.

See, this was an entirely unprompted cameo that really only amounted to the name, and nothing else. She didn't really read much KA, she wasn't asked about the Plasma Wisp unless my memory is wrong, I just simply named the Wisp after her and left it at that. She doesn't even tend to act like the real Flashy, either before OR after the name reveal. It was just unnecessary.

This isn't funny at all. I'd rather you not show up to stop a scene that hasn't started yet. It makes sense if you let the scene go on for ludicrous amounts of time before getting angry and changing the scene, but there was no point for the scene to start if you were going to cut away from it using a pointless author injection that doesn't do any good for anything.

Man, Kaxo is just mean...

Izzy here was named after the real-life Flashy/Jazzy's boyfriend at the time, who was also part of that Skype friend group. He, like the Wisp Jazzy, had nothing to do with the real Izzy in any capacity beyond the name (and now the relationship).

What makes things extra awkward in retrospect is not only am I not friends with Izzy or have spoken to him in about 13 years as of 2024, but he and Flashy split up after like half a year after this. It was a teenage internet romance, it wasn't surprising that they broke up, but now because of me, this footnote in my friend's relationship history is permanently a part of my own comic history?? And like, that's just plain weird.

Let this be a lesson: don't name your minor characters after people you actually know. Let your work speak for itself, on its own.

This comic establishes the idea that Saia was not part of the original KAS, which I think is something I didn't really focus on much. Her being unaware of Fanhal is an indication of that, though I feel like she was aware he existed, just not that he used to be a Division A member.

I probably should've done a revision of this comic back in the day, now that I'm looking at it closely. Not only do I think I'd likely have wanted to do a bit of retconning of Fanhal and Saia (since my gut reaction is that some of this information isn't entirely accurate), but also the last panel has a bit of squished text, AND I misspelled 'division' twice. Not a great output.

Kaxo is a bully!

The Blade Knight and Sword Knight enemies are common sword-wielding enemies in the Kirby series, especially Blade Knight (the green one). I named these two specific ones Lyze and Lil, after a secondary and extremely minor character pairing from the Guardians of Ga'Hoole young adult fantasy series about owls. There is absolutely zero correlation between the pairs of characters (in fact, Ga'Hoole's Lyze is a renowned hero), I just liked the names and decided to nick them for my own purposes.

The whole "warp" thing isn't something that the knights can normally do, I guess it was just me deciding to give a teleportation power to them so as to speed things up. I probably still could've figured out a better way to pace things, but oh well.

Shadowy Meta Knight here originally had dark purple text bubbles while in the shadow. These were practically illegible, so now I've fixed them by making them the same green color they end up being when he's no longer in the shadow.

Wiz is an extremely odd case for his inclusion in this comic. Wiz is a random, regular boss encounter from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. He's sometimes considered the Mirror World counterpart of a boss from Kirby's Adventure known as Paint Roller, simply because they have similar attack patterns in their respective games. Wiz isn't a major character or antagonist, he just kind of exists as this magician boss fight.

Amazing Mirror was a game I loved, though, so I guess I decided I'd bring him in here, but... really, really weirdly. I decided to give him a brand new, random gimmick where each time he was defeated, he would shatter into pieces (like a mirror) and then reform with some new quirk. His being defeated in the original game was his 'normal' appearance, but him reappearing here meant he needed a gimmick. Thus, I gave him a color-changing one, where his hue shifts in every panel. This also led to the entire background itself also shifting hue in each panel.

Was there any reason for this? Why is Wiz even here and working for this guy? It's never elaborated on, it's never explained, it just sort of is a thing that happened and must be accepted. Just like the fact that I also decided to never show Wiz's eyes throughout the entirety of the comic, for no apparent reason.

This is just me giving up on pacing and zooming ahead to the climax. For all the love this segment got at the time and me calling it a 'magnum opus in the moment', it's... still not great lol

I just really struggled heavily with how to pace action and exploration for a good long while. It really didn't start to get a bit better until around Chapter 3 of the comic. Again, not that anything is AWFUL, but it still gets better over time.

The original version of this page was certainly a weird one. I had to condense the first six panels in interesting ways to get this one to fit a more traditional layout, but I think I succeeded. The middle panel is a bit crowded now too, but I think it works as best as possible.

It's certainly better than the original layout-breaking page.

Shadik not being sucked up by Wiz's energy sphere was mostly because of the idea of him being a Shadow Kirby, being stronger and, I guess, heavier than the others. This sturdiness let him be the big savior, but first I had a bit of fun in trying to show off this dumb multicolored background I had been using up to this point. If I was gonna use a background that changed like this, a simple animation was a good way of showing how it actually was supposed to look. Even if the joke here still relied on giving Shadik a visible thought, something I still regret.

From left to right, the large horde of guards here are various minibosses from Kirby Super Star Ultra: Bugzzy, Phan Phan, Gaw Gaw (from Kirby Squeak Squad), Poppy Bros. Sr., Fire Lion, Bonkers, Iron Mam, and Mr. Frosty. They're all species in and of themselves, and these particular ones are... completely un-noteworthy. They're simply just here to be a horde of semi-strong enemies to give the Squad some trouble. They aren't characters, they're simply an obstacle to overcome.

The walrus one looks bored. What was it's name again? Oh well. Why the green Knight and his army are attacking the Squad is a good question, because even WITHOUT counting the Plasma Wisps (I forgot the names), Jarkes, and FP, the Squad members present are only one member short of a one-on-one battle, and most of the Squad members could take out multiple foes by themselves. The ONLY problems are that the enemies are going to attack at the same time, and that the four non-Squad members present do not appear to be the most proficient at battling. (Though I would think the Plasma Wisps would be better fighters than FP and Jarkes, mostly because the female one has shown she can short out the lights in a room that doesn't even have any, which is VERY difficult, and FP seems quite laid back and Jarkes seems jumpy, neither of which are usually good attitudes for battling. Not to mention that FP uses a yo-yo, which isn't exactly the most powerful weapon.) Of course, the mysterious item that was found by Caiya (did I spell that right?) might be either very useful for battling or the item everyone is searching for. Assuming of course, she didn't eat it like she did the Warpstar. Also, the wall of text is the ONLY shield that I know of that can put your enemies or yourself to sleep...making this post a POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ITEM. (OH NO! NOW IT'S GONNA BE ILLEGAL TO HAVE THIS IN AN AIRPORT!)

Not all of the bosses are recolored. Moley, Poppy Bro, and Iron Mom are with their normal shadings, while the rest are pallete swaps of the normal characters.

Is Caiya going to use the item she just found?

Wiz, as a boss fight in Amazing Mirror, spawns other enemies out of his hat, akin to the whole "pull a rabbit out of a hat" routine. Here, he winds up magically summoning copies of more boss encounters from other Kirby games. Presented here, from left to right (in the final panel), is Paint Roller (the 'counterpart' boss to Wiz mentioned earlier, who comes from Kirby's Adventure), Chameleo Arm (the actual original boss of the Old Tower area in Kirby Super Star), Ice Dragon (from Kirby's Dream Land 2), and Rolling Turtle (a miniboss from Kirby's Adventure who was replaced by the functionally-identical Phan Phan in later games).

Aside from that trivia, all you really need to know is that they're not friendly and they're pretty strong.

Let Paint Roller draw his things, Kirby could suck them in a spit it out a Ice Dragon or Rolling Turtle. Chameleo Arm is excellent with its projectile bombs, so taking out the other (Ice Dragon if he chose Turle, and vice-versa for vice-versa). Dodge their attacks and take'em out. And then it's smooth sailing with the Stored Ability on the remaining Paint Roller & CA.

All I fixed here was the last panel.

Fusion Kirby was the first commenter to actually ask for a cameo (who actually provided me something I could use, at least). He gave me a sprite sheet of a recolored Meta Knight, turning him from blue to green. The original comment made by the real Fusion Kirby user had some ideas that were a bit overzealous for a mere cameo, but he ultimately had hoped to be a villain. While I don't think I originally intended to have a villain in this segment, when it became clear that I was, using Fusion Kirby felt like it made sense.

Very little of Fusion Kirby's actual requests wound up making it into Kirby Adventure, which I find kind of odd how loose I was, but it made it a lot easier to write and not worry too much about overall, so it was probably the right decision. In-universe, he's probably just this weird cosplayer-type Kirby with delusions of grandeur, or something. I never really bothered to explain why he looked like Meta Knight, but he wound up being written silly enough that it didn't ultimately matter.

Both three cameos are fighting in this fight scene, and we know their fighting powers (Jarkes is a Bio Spark, so it's Ninja. FP uses Yo-Yo. And Fusion Kirby is a Meta-Knight, so it's sword).

Original Comic Revised Comic

Fanhal is one of the last Kirby characters to show himself using a Stored Ability, in this case the Bomb power. It does what it says on the tin, lets Kirby use bombs to attack with.

The Ice Orb was an idea I came up with that didn't have much to do with Kirby. It was intended to be a subtle macguffin quest, where in theory, every chapter of the comic would reveal the location of one of seven special elemental orbs. I don't remember what the original plan was with these things, but it was probably akin to similar styles of quest from games like Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Crystal Stars.

I abandoned this idea mostly because I realized it would take way too long, and I didn't want the comic to last for ages, so these orbs wound up being a bit of a leftover plot point. They weren't quite abandoned, but they weren't utilized like I intended to use them.

Either way, this Ice Orb that Caiya got from the musty ancient room is something that is just a power-up to her existing ice powers. Also, her quote in the final panel is cribbed from Ice Man's catchphrase from Mega Man: Powered Up. Because I was still a Highly Original Writer at the time.

...If anybody but Caiya used the orb, it would likely either have not worked at all, work at only a fraction of the power, or reacted negatively with the energies of the user/exploded.
...then again, that's just a guess, and since I'm pretty sure that that orb was the item this entire mission was SUPPOSED to be about, it *hopefully* won't be destroyed or misused. And that like somebody whose name escapes me suggested, it was not used up in that one attack, making it little more than an ineffective, if neat, paperweight.

Usually, but if you somehow manage to hit the enemy on the head (and it ISN'T a Spiny or the like), then the enemy is killed. Usually, anyway. It just makes Wrigglers angry, which means it can kill everybody more easily.

Oh, it seems that Jarkes got his revenge on FP for being used as a bowling ball.

And it seems that even the non-squad members are powerful; Jarkes can vanish into, and strike from, the shadows, FP has a strong throwing arm, and I already mentioned how the Plasma Wisps proved themselves powerful (at least the girl) by burning out the lights in a room that doesn't even have any, which is still pretty impressive.

Hi guys. Sorry about the gap in updates, I'm just fairly busy and I don't have much time to make comics. Incredibly convenient for the 100th comic... Anyways, try to expect the next comic within the week. I've been working on it bit by bit. If it wasn't going to be so friggin long, It'd probably be done by now. But I want it to be special, so long it shall be (no "that's what she said" jokes, please). Sorry about the lack of updates, I think I'm going to stop the daily update schedule anyway.

I did an exceptionally long comic to celebrate reaching 100 main pages. Aside from the end flashback bits, it didn't actually affect the general pacing of events in the end. Everything mostly would've happened like this already, I imagine, but it all just happened in one big page instead of like 10 more smaller pages.

Also, needless to say, but those last two panels in a white void aren't actively canon, it's all meta.

I shall treat this comic like individual comics for this comment section.

Overall: Argh Jpeg quality agaaaaaain. But thats what you get when I try and make a big comic. Smack Jeeves screws you over with its file size limit. (Edit: NOT ANYMORE, SCREW YOU SMACK JEEVES!)

Panels 1-5: The battle might seem rushed, but I still like it. Kirby is, after all, experienced and powerful. That sword is deadly. Plus, they ARE illusions.

Panel 6: I wonder how they hurt Kirby if they were illusions...

Panel 8: Kirby never is when you try to kill him, Wiz.

Panel 9: You'll note that I used the normal freezed position instead of my usual recoloring.

Panel 10: I also used the frozen background from two comics ago. Wiz probably just liked the color or something.

Panel 11: You'll note this ice blast is smaller than the previous ice blast. That can and will be explained shortly. Also, small mistake here; Caiya's text bubble has no tail. :P

Panel 12: That's gotta hurt.

Panel 15: One of my favorite jokes so far.

Panel 16: Yep, Wiz really was controlling the background's coloration.

Panel 20: Don't doubt the yo-yo.

Panel 22: Flashbacky goodness!

Panel 23: Entirely FP's idea here.

Panel 24: Helping people gets you money!

Panel 25: White space of DOOOOOOOOOM!!!

And with that, I give you this new reformed update schedule: every two days, I'll update. So a comic one day, none the next, then another comic, then none, etc.

Dislike your tone, but the content I shall address. Super Mario World: Redone I stopped because:
A. It was going absolutely nowhere
B. The co-author part of it wasn't exactly working out well
C. It had absolutely no value to me.

Yoshi & Kirby is NOT finished, it will update soon. I'm just not feeling enthusiastic about making Y&K comics. Kirby Adventure grew super incredibly popular, more so than I imagined in the slightest. Meanwhile, Yoshi & Kirby was looked down upon as my lesser comic. While I have a decent fanbase for Y&K, Kirby Adventure grew so popular that I started to neglect Y&K. But I want to start updating again soon, so don't worry.

Kirby Adventure, however, goes without update for one week and everybodys going all 'OH NOES THE COMIC IS OVER AAAA'
I mean seriously, is this really cause for concern? The reason I haven't updated is because first of all, after completing a segment, I want to take a quick two or three day break. Since I just reached the 100th comic, I wanted to extend that by a day or two. Now I completely forgot this planned vacation my family is going on. So I got dragged along, and now I'm using my portable Netbook laptop, which has absolutely none of my comic files on it, nor does it have Photoshop or MS Paint. I'll be back to comic making on Sunday, so stop fretting. Honestly, I thought I already posted this. I guess I'm starting to get bad memory. And also, the update schedule isn't even in use yet, it's starting NEXT comic. Hope that stops these complaints.

Edit-Here is something that I was going to post earlier, but never actually did, for some reason. @Gobbler9-probably because he has to be really angry or it takes a lot of energy or something like that. Also, they didn't have much time to try stuff before Whiz got them (I think, anyway.)

Also, poor Fusionkirby. For some reason, when I think of the sound "WHAM" in this comic, I automatically think of BitF's Eario video (link is on comic 274, and shows comics 271-274). Specifically, the Thwomp. (Poor Eario...)

This is otherwise your best segment yet, but something just occurred to me: You never even MENTIONED Jarkes's "Super Secret Ancient Ninja Scroll" in the comic itself. It... bugs me a little...
Also, will FP, Jarkes, and FusionKirby become recurring characters?

Sorry about not mentioning it, but there was never really a good time to bring it up.

Just to let you know, every cameo will appear at LEAST twice. I have plans for both Jarkes and FP that will give them decent minor roles in upcoming chapters, though I'm not quite certain what I'll do with Fusion Kirby. Maybe I can try to bring up your Super Ultra Secret Ancient Ninja Scroll then.

I probably wouldn't have updated this page originally, but it was five panels wide which completely broke the layout of the site still. Thus, I remade the page with a three-panel wide layout, and ended up having to cut one useless panel where FP did a breakdance attack before whipping out his giant yo-yo. I also gave Caiya's text bubble a tail when she freezes Wiz.
